Matt’s Notes:
A 14yr old Glen Scotia distilled in 2006. This cask-strength expression was released for the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2020. Initially matured in first-fill barrels before being transferred to American oak hogshead casks seasoned with Tawny Port. An altogether impressive dram.
Aromas of heather and wild brambles with a hint of sea breeze. The palate is rich and spicy with complex notes of peat smoke.
