Benromach
Benromach is a Speyside in Morayshire and is fed with spring water from the Chapelton Springs in the Romach Hills beside Forres.
Benromach was founded in 1898 and today is the smallest working distillery in Speyside.
Independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail, who bought it in 1993, own the distillery.
The distillery recommenced production of its single malt, which is slightly peated in the traditional highland style. In 2006, they released Benromach Organic, the first single malt whisky to be fully certified as organic by the Soil Association.
