Matt’s Notes:
Distilled 1999 and aged in a red wine hogshead for nine years before being bottled in 2008 at cask strenght by WM. Cadenhead in Campbeltown.
A single malt bottled from a single cask to ensure the natural character and colour of the whisky, only 310 bottles ever released.
Classic maritime character with cereal and pine, a hint of smoke on the finish is enhanced by the influence of the red wine cask that was its home for nine years prior to bottling.
