Distilled at Bruichladdich on the 18th June 1998, aged for twelve years in a Bourbon cask and bottled in 2011. Ancien Regime was the first of two bottlings to mark the acquisition and re-birth of Bruichladdich Distillery and is among he very last spirit to be distilled under the old order.

Smokey aromas with hints of toffee apple and toasty vanilla. The palate is rich and complex with some black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
