Matt’s Notes:
Distilled in 2014, aged for just over three years, and is bottled chill-filtered. Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky is the first whisky ever distilled in the Cotswolds, it uses 100% locally grown, floor-malted barley and has been aged in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and reconditioned red wine casks.
A highly enjoyable dram with aromas of candied fruit, vanilla, tangerines and apricot. The palette develops intense cereal notes, floral meadows, with hints of wild berries and grassy notes. The finish is fresh and aromatic with good citrus notes, spice, vanillin malt and dark chocolate.
